Our ballet classes follow the ISTD Imperial classical Ballet Syllabus.
Ballet is the core foundation of dance technique and will help the dancer in all other dance styles.
Our qualified and experienced teachers will help the student develop good technique at a pace suitable for the age of the student. As they progress through the different Grades they will build on their knowledge of steps whilst perfecting their technique, developing their musicality and dance quality.
Students are offered the opportunity to take their ISTD ballet exams when they have reached the required standard
We follow the ISTD Tap syllabus. Students are offered the opportunity to take their ISTD Tap Examinations when they have reached the required standard.
At the start of the syllabus students will learn basic sets developing their rhythm and co-ordination as they move on to the higher grade these steps become more complex.
Acro is a fusion of acrobatics and dance.
Children will learn Acro skills including cartwheels, walkovers and aerials and put these together in a dance routine.
This is an excellent syllabus to build strength and flexibility.
We follow the Acrobatic Arts Syllabus and students are offered the opportunity to take their AA exams when they have reached the standard required.
Juniors 7 – 11 years
Seniors 12+ years
Our modern theatre classes follow the ISTD syllabus and students are offered the opportunity to take their ISTD modern examinations when they have reached the standard required.
Students will learn fundamental dance technique across different modern styles including lyrical, jazz and musical theatre dance. They will also work on their flexibility and performance skills.
This a is a fun non syllabus class where students will learn different routines to all their favourite tunes.
They will start off with a warm up followed by corner work to improve their kicks, turns and travelling steps and progress to learning a routine for the last part of the class.
Junior 7 – 11 years
Senior 12+ years
This is a fun non syllabus class that covers different styles including hip hop, commercial and street.
The children will learn different routines and choreography to all the latest music.
